THE TEAM
Teri Furr, Pastor, Board Member

www.serenadeministries.com

Teri Furr is the Executive Pastor at The Refuge in Charlotte, NC and is an invaluable part of the board of For Mercy's Sake. Teri believes that God releases a "serenade" to us before we are born, and continues to release His sound over us our entire lives, always wanting to draw us into a deeper intimacy with Him. Her heart to be a part of that serenade beckoning to humanity is accomplished by sounding the Gospel through teaching, evangelism, prayer, and worship...all vital parts of the work For Mercy's Sake is doing in Europe. Teri pastors the board of For Mercy's Sake and serves as a bridge to various churches, organizations, and individuals who help to further the work of our organization.

Greg & Anna Marie Dandy, Board Members
Greg & Anna Marie are amazing parents and pastor a house church in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. They love being a part of For Mercy's Sake, giving hope where there is no hope, especially to the children being reached in Romania. They are very excited about the medical care being provided in villages that didn't have access to help before. They love seeing lives changed through simple things like aspirin and tylenol-the things we so easily take for granted. The Dandys labor with local efforts in the organization of supplies, coordination of volunteers, and provide practical help and vision to increase the scope of blessing in Romania.

Scott & Vivienne McIlvain, Board Members
Scott and Vivienne are both business owners in York, Pennsylvania. They are passionate about the heart of Christ and His gospel expressed in Matthew 25: 34-36: "Then the King will say...'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance...For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'" Scott and Vivienne have a burden for individuals to understand that when He faced the cross for the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2), that we have the responsibility to live in a way that increases that joy. The McIlvains coordinate with local business and politicians to offer them the opportunity to partner in mercy.

Tom & Debbie Lettieri, Board Members

www.lettiericonstruction.com

Lettieri Construction was founded in 1981 with a commitment to use the utmost quality of craftsmanship and service along with the highest level of integrity and accountability. They have partnered with For Mercy's Sake to build God's kingdom in a literal way. Tom and Debbie endeavor to embody the heart of 2 Corinthians 9:9-13: "...He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor...Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness."  They believe that financial blessing from God is for the purpose of supplying the needs of others so that the fulfillment of God's blessings to Abraham might be manifest, "In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." The Lettieris oversee the construction arm of For Mercy's Sake, not only overseeing all construction for the community centers, but also assisting other ministries in building efforts in Europe.

Chemarea Veghetorului // For Mercy's Sake
Chemarea Veghetorului was founded in 2007 by Bob & Dawn Sweigart as a separate organization under the Romanian government, to facilitate the work of For Mercy's Sake within that nation's borders.

Cristi & Sorina Popa

Cristi serves as president of the Romanian branch of For Mercy's Sake-Chemarea Veghetorului. He and his wife Sorina serve at Agape Church in Timisoara, Romania, pastoring the youth.

Marcel and Valerica Strubert
Vali is the Vice President of the Romanian arm of For Mercy's Sake, Chemarea Veghetorului. She ministers with Marcel as he serves as the mission pastor for Agape Church in Timisoara, Romania, assisting seven churches in the western part of Romania. The Struberts encourage leaders from these churches in their respective local projects as they travel to minister to each one individually. They also raise up teams from Agape to send out to the seven churches as partnering missionaries for two months at a time. In this way, the churches they oversee are given additional help and fresh energy in fulfilling the call on their local bodies. Marcel & Vali have seen the escalating growth of the impact of For Mercy's Sake's in Romania. They believe that as they partner with For Mercy's Sake, that there is an increasing revelation of the need both the Americans and Romanians have for one another in order to fulfill the calling that God has given to the ministry: to share the Good News to people who haven't heard and to practically express a loving God to those who have never experienced mercy and kindness living in underprivileged areas.
